About Us

Helen – Little Robins Founder

I used to work in property law, but after having my two lovely little ones (who are not so little any more!), I realised I needed a career that would allow me to spend more time with them and keep up with our free-range lifestyle. Together with my husband Nick, we live on site at Little Robins and put any spare time we have into making it a lovely place to be.

I completed Forest School Level 3 Training, volunteered in local schools and started running outdoor sessions for parents, babies, toddlers and home-educated children. Watching these children gain confidence and thrive in nature inspired me to pursue a career in early childhood education. Currently, I am registered with SCA Childcare Agency, which conducts yearly inspections to ensure that I am providing a top-quality Early-Year’s Curriculum experience. They also provide me with ongoing support, training, and opportunities to keep learning and growing in my field.
